Handmade Studio
Founded in 2023, our studio is dedicated to the art of handcrafted jewelry. We specialize in wire-wrapped and woven designs, creating pendants, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and braided cords — each piece made with care and intention. We also offer select craft supplies for fellow makers, and share handmade tutorials and creative inspiration on our blog. To us, handmade jewelry is more than an accessory — it’s a reflection of lifestyle, emotion, and individuality. Our story began in Beijing, China.
I’m Tong, a maker who finds joy in crafting and creation. In 2023, I met Eric — an artist from the U.S. — through a wire-wrapping community on Reddit. Coincidentally, he was living in Beijing at the time. We met in person, and our shared passion quickly sparked the idea of building a studio dedicated to handmade artistry. That’s how our journey began — born from friendship, inspiration, and a love for craftsmanship.
Soon after, Ms. Liao from Beijing joined us. She is highly skilled in traditional Chinese knot and bracelet weaving, blending delicate technique with deep cultural roots. Over the past two years, we’ve participated in exhibitions and traveled through regions like Tibet and Xinjiang, where we discovered ancient jewelry traditions rich in history — some dating back over a thousand years. We learned from local artisans and shared their stories on our blog, hoping to connect more people with these timeless crafts. Meanwhile, we’ve built a strong network of trusted suppliers across China, ensuring that every handmade piece begins with quality materials and authentic inspiration.
